Rochelle Poulson
is a 2001 graduate of Boulder College of Massage Therapy (1000
hour massage program) and completed internships at Hospice of
Metro Denver and Colorado Aids Project. In addition to being
a registered massage therapist in Texas, she is nationally certified,
is a member of the ABMP and she is specialty-trained in Pregnancy
Massage and Polarity Therapy and completed Doula training at
Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis in 2002. Rochelle moved
to Austin last year after having practiced privately for 5 years
in St. Louis, MO specializing in bodywork for Musicians, Actors
and Athletes. For the last two years she has worked here in Austin with local
musicians and at the Hills Fitness Center refining her skills in Deep
Tissue and Sports massage. She has a caring nature, a deep passion
for the healing arts, and enlightened sense of community and
believes strongly that massage therapy should be available to
everyone. These qualities come through in her work and after
a bodywork session you are sure to leave feeling peaceful and cared for.
"I would describe my work as having a box of tools I have
gathered and created over time that I use to create a specialized
bodywork session for each client. As humans in this fast paced
world, our bodies, minds and souls are active and busy. Giving
yourself time to unwind and regroup physically through massage allows your mind and soul to flourish
and be more productive
that is what I want to send my
clients away with
more productivity and a sense of peace."
